Aron's Branching first!' paper accepted

In a collaboration with the Sels group, we have worked on a new strategy to introduce branching points in the carbon skeletion of bio-derived chemicals, at the level of the sugar feedstock stream, rather than afterward.

The branched sugar can lead to isoalkanes and branched polyols with heterogeneous catalytic processes.

Aron is a last year PhD student with Prof. Sels, cosupervised by Prof. Dusselier
